CPC Europe Fund I Announces Viatel Acquisition
Carson Private Capital Europe Fund I announced its participation in the $160 million acquisition of Viatel by Hicks Muse (Europe).
Viatel is a leading European facilities-based service provider that operates a fiber-optic pan-European broadband network, including Internet access, virtual private networks, guaranteed bandwidth, bandwidth on demand, co-location services and web hosting. Viatel's network covers 3,000 customers in over 40 cities in Europe.
Viatel represents Carson Private Capital Europe Fund I's fifth portfolio company acquisition.
